the positive side of having a kid with disabilities....
knowing that every time you look at them your looking at a miracle
seeing innocence in their eyes
learning every day is a new chance to learn that one task that he has been practicing for a month
being able to enjoy the small milestones in a big way
getting to enjoy the "baby stage" much longer than most people
getting to meet wonderful people, nurses, doctors, therapists, staff that you wouldnt normally get to know
having a blue tag that hangs on the rear view mirror that entitles you to park close to the hospital or therapy office that you visit multiple times a month.
getting to meet lots of other families in similar situations.
